Ava was taking things a little easy this week. She was doing some home hob exercises with her sister Farrah on Monday. She got a new bubble toy and she was starting the weekend off early with some Venaboys " Going to Ibiza" as she became DJ Ava.
This week Brian has been watching more of Joe Wicks on You Tube. He has also been enjoying different exercises and games. Brian has been practising touching his toes, skipping, dancing, standing on one leg, running on the spot and fast walking. Brian has also enjoyed playing Simon Says, volleyball, bouncing on his space hopper and playing football.
Lucy has been very unwell at home so is in hospital since Monday. She is improving every day and is hoping to be home to her family on Friday. They are all missing her loads. Sorry to hear that, we all wish her a speedy recovery.
Ava was very busy this week. she made a sensory water toy. She made a tent with her brother and sisters. Ava misses going to town so we did a virtual town Friday for her . She went to post office for her stamp. She went to get a book at the library and she ended up at the box of frogs. We took note of Ava's exercise activities from last week so we had a full week to send this week is looking much the same. I hope the people she met were nice, they look it, we sometimes ran into some very rude people in our virtual town! Thanks Kim.
"I've had a couple of visitors to the Glen - social distancing of course. The photos are for the blog not recipes." Whatever does she think of me?
Look who we met on our walk for active week earlier, our neighbours' horses and Sean fell in love with them.
Also a little paint work Sean did over the weekend with his new paints.
Hi everyone, I hope you are all keeping well. I finished the 9th room on the redecorating list which gave me time to have a go at the garden. Someone said to me where else would you rather be in lock-down than West Cork. Got a point...
Ava had a busy few days. Saturday should have been Ava's sister Abbie's Holy Communion so we gave her a surprise posh pop-up restaurant instead, mom was the chef and dad was the waiter.
I did like playing with magnetic blocks and played with bubbles. I was also trying to catch mom's puppet sock .
Brian has been busy helping out in the garden, he has helped to plant Peas and has been watering them everyday.
Brian listened to Peter Rabbit audio book on his iPad and also did more exercises with Joe Wicks.
Brian worked on two stories this week 'King Tut' and 'Earthquake'.
Brian also worked on halving problems and halving sums in maths.
Brian enjoyed making his toasted sandwiches this week and he was very excited when he received a postcard from Ms. Hourihan.
