Room 7 had great fun at The Treehouse for their school tour.

The children in Room 7 participated in two wonderful Music Therapy session with Lisa McAuliffe (Music Therpaist). Everyone loved it.

We had great fun preparing for Easter. We made some lovely clay nests with eggs and we painted them with some beautiful colours. Our nests were wrapped up to bring home. 
We also made some yummy Rice Krispies buns with mini eggs on top. They were delicious. 

We celebrated World Autism Day in Our Lady of Mercy NS on Friday 1st April. Blue is associated with a calm feeling and acceptance in an otherwise loud and busy world for people with autism. Everyone wore blue to promote Autism Awareness Day. We made a lovely sign and we iced some buns. They were yummy. We had a great day. 

We had great fun preparing for Christmas. We were busy at art. Santa visited all of the classrooms and the children were so excited. We made some yummy Rudolph Rice Krispie buns. One child also added his own Christmas decoration to the classroom. He was so proud of it.

Room 7 acquired a 10ft sensory wall and two balance beams.
This will be of huge benefit to the children in Room 7.
There was great excitement on the children’s faces when they saw it.
