LATEST GREEN SCHOOLS NEWS!!
 
Our theme this year is Global Citizenship - Litter and Waste. Our main project this year has been starting our Wormery to help with our composting. we have all been working hard in our classroom gardens - bulb planting, making garden tyre containers, and developing herb gardens and vegetable gardens.
The Green School Commmittee want to applaud the children who use other sustainable modes of transport such as walking or school bus. We will be encouraging and rewarding these modes of transport throughout the year. 
 
We are trying to reduce the waste produced in our school. Each class has a bin for rubbish and one for recyclables. Children are encouraged to take their rubbish home.
Teachers are encouraged to photocopy on both sides of the page.
 
Clean recycled waste is collected and reused for art and craft.
 
As well as recycling paper and plastics, we have been involved in recycling mobile phones.
